Weddings

I just love love. I love celebrating it in an intimate setting with your closest friends and family, a huge party with all your favorite people there, and all the in-betweens!

Here are a few benefits in hiring me as your photographer on your big day:

  1. I capture genuine emotions: Through years of photographing, I've learned how to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, which encourages my clients and other guests to be themselves. This can result in more natural and genuine expressions of joy, laughter, and love from you and your guests. My energy and enthusiasm can help to bring out the best in everyone, resulting in more authentic and heartfelt moments being captured.
  2. I am all about participation: A fun and outgoing photographer should engage with your guests and encourage them to participate in the photography process. Have you ever been to a wedding and nobody is dancing? You likely won't have that issue with me as your photographer. I love getting to know the other vendors and helping suggest songs that'll get your crowd moving! I, also, have been told that I make people feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera, leading to more candid and spontaneous shots. Your guests are more likely to enjoy themselves and be willing to have their photos taken when they feel a connection with the person taking their photo.
  3. I keep the energy high: Weddings can be long and tiring, but as a lively and energetic photographer, I can help keep the energy levels up throughout the day. I can make the photography portion of your wedding day enjoyable and exciting, ensuring that everyone remains engaged and enthusiastic. This can help prevent any dip in enthusiasm and ensure that your photos reflect the same energy and happiness that you felt on your wedding day.
  4. I capture unconventional and creative shots: With a creative and adventurous spirit, I am more likely to think outside the box and experiment with unique angles, compositions, and poses. I bring a fresh perspective to your wedding photos and capture moments in imaginative ways. This can result in a diverse and visually stunning collection of images that truly reflect your wedding's uniqueness. I'll of course capture some posed bridals, but I always come prepared with fun poses, prompts, and ideas to make sure your photos are true to what you see in my portfolio and try to match any inspiration images my clients give me as well.
  5. My organization skills are top notch: I send out a detailed questionnaire that helps me to be able to know exactly what my clients are wanting from me on their big day. My questionnaire includes questions about family dynamics so there are no awkward moments when doing family photos, a timeline that I try my best to stick to (we all know things don't always go perfectly and sometimes things go off schedule - I'm happy to try my hardest to get us back on track smoothly), and other details about what's most important and maybe least important on your wedding day. I have assisted many brides with their bustle, helped glue on nails last minute, and have even calmed a few ladies down when things go awry.
